Looking through the fence, I knew I wanted to go inside. The sound of laughter and Ping-Pong balls flying all over the place caught my attention at a park near my house in Shenzhen, China. Despite my poor Chinese skills and poor Ping-Pong skills too, today felt different.
Ignoring the awkward feeling holding me back, I stepped in.
