最近科学家认为，先前我们发现的那些太阳系外的“海洋星球”，它们上面可能并不存在海洋，甚至可能压根就没水。这些行星的表面或许弥漫着厚重的“烟灰”，科学家称它们为“烟灰行星（Soot Planets）”。 由“烟灰”构成的行星长什么样？为什么它们会被误认为是“海洋星球”呢？
